Rabenstein Learning Center

The history of the Rabenstein Learning Center begins with the visionary, dynamic personality of Norman Rabenstein z"l, who offered his strength and resources to support the pioneering step taken by Yeshiva Darchei Torah in 1981 to open the first yeshiva-based resource room. The Center today reflects the courage and professionalism upon which its foundation was laid and which are the hallmarks of an educational program whose integrity and success have been acknowledged throughout the country.

The Center is skillfully guided by the talent and determination of Mrs. Jill Kay. Together with a hand-picked staff of special educators, the Center has developed into a holistic answer to the learning challenges of special children, joining together educators, administrators, teachers, therapists, and parents in a team process that yields phenomenal results.

The Weiss Vocational Center

Current courses include carpentry, heating and air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical wiring and culinary training.

Weiss Vocational Center/Adult Division

The Weiss Vocational Center launched an Adult Education Division which is designed to help applicants develop the necessary skills to gain employment in today's volatile economy. Courses include electrical wiring, plumbing, and Microsoft Office.
